Ford Thunderbird Club

[attachment=28]Wanted to post my project car.  I was the previous owner of the 1969 Tbird.  I have a 1966 Ford Fairlane that is all stock.  It has a 289 and C4 automatic.  It has no power steering, no power brakes, no air conditioning and no power windows or seats.  Unlike the Tbird that has power everything.
The Fairlane has a nice paint job and gets a lot of attention whenever I drive it.  I enjoy driving it a lot.
The plan is to upgrade the brakes and steering to make it easier to drive and safer.
I have a 390 cu. in. engine and a C6 transmission that I may install to give it more power.
The engine and transmission went under water during Hurricane Harvey last summer.
I rescued the engine and have it taken apart now.
All looks well, I just need time to rebuild it.
Haven't heard much about the Tbird, so I guess it is in rebuild stages.

Thanks for sharing Harley. No power anything is not always bad. Saves you from a lot of problems. I just decided to remove the AC for the moment, as it’s not working.
Unfortunately there weren’t many people who want to contribute in an English speaking Thunderbird forum, so I decided to stop sharing my progress here. 
The German version of this forum is quite popular already and I’m updating my thread nearly every day. You probably won’t understand the texts, but pictures tell you more than a thousand words anyways.

As you can see, it is about to being finished in the next few days
