How to distinguish model years from each other?

1967 models have no side markers at all

1968 models received side markers, the rear marker is just a reflector

1969 models received a grill with less sections and illuminated rear side markers

1970 models had a completely redesigned grill, that might remember of a „V“ or a beak

1971 models had the same grill, but with slightly wider bright metal blades every third rung
